“France-India Meet” at St. Anthony’s & Darshan
College: On arrival in India seven French Youth
learnt to wish : “Namaste”, whereas Indian
hundreds of youth at St. Anthony’s & Darshan
College welcomed them saying: “Bonjour” “Soyez
Bienvenues”. In an excellent exchange programme
they saw, they spoke, they shared, they danced,
they learnt, they taught. It was a mind blowing
exchange of culture and civilization. Nothing
could stop them from learning and listening from
one another. It remains a history, a great event
in the lives of the Indian as well as French
students. It is not only that the campus
resounded with Indian Patriatic songs and hindi
film songs, but also gave a listening ear to the
lovely French National Anthem “La Marseillaise”
and french songs. The young seven French youth
inspired the Anthonians through their lived work
& study experience. They said: “Everything is
possible when we give our best to God, to others
and to our studies. Nothing in this world can
obstruct us from reaching the goal if we are
dedicated, determined and disciplined.” Viva la
France et Viva l’Inde.
