Parents Orientation & Topper’s Felicitation Programme @ St. Anthony’s PU College, Kengeri, Bangalore.
“Children are parent’s stars, only through education one can participate in the process of development & growth, thus become the shining stars in the society.” St. Anthony’s P.U. College conducted the first Parents Orientation Programme to brief about the Institution, the Faculty and to set goals sky high. It is a year of great celebration and proud moment for the Anthonians as the Institute secured 91% result with 15 distinctions and centum in Kannada and Economics in II P.U. Public Examination and we cherished this moment with all the parents. The Director, Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias, felicitated the toppers and spoke about the co-ordination between the parents and children, students and teachers and role of parents and teachers in moulding the character and over all development of the students. Two of our toppers, Preetha Juliet and Sahana Mary shared their life & academic experience and achievement at St. Anthony’s. They thanked the Management and Faculties for their efforts, motivation, dedication and determination in bringing out the best in the students. They addressed the parents and assured them that their wards are in safe hands i.e., quality education, good infrastructure, healthy environment, security and above all best quality education. Rev. Fr. Roshan Rosario briefed the parents on various activities which will be conducted during the academic year 2016-2017. The parents were given the glimpse of the formation and transformation which takes place at St. Anthony's PU College. The Darshan College Principals Rev. Fr. George and Rev. Fr. Nitin extended a warm welcome to the Toppers and wished that they get ranks in the Bangalore University!
