Karnataka Rajyotsava Day at St. Anthony’s Pre-University College, Kengeri,Bangalore
Karnataka Rajyotsava Day was celebrated by the Anthonians on 29th November. The Director Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias was the President and Dr. B. S. Talwadi was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Dr. B. S. Talwadi, Professor of Kannada Department was felicitated by the management. He spoke on the importance of encouraging and safeguarding Kannada language. He donated two of his books to college library which were published recently. Rev. Fr. Alwyn Dias in his speech praised Kannada language and the culture. He appreciated Dr. B. S. Talwadi for his work and contribution to Kannada literature. The students showcased their talents through Kannada songs and dance.
